We still need the commandments

This week was spent diving into to learn more about the 10 commandments and their relevance in our lives today.

We used assigned a commandment to 10 pairs, studied, and then had each group report back on the following questions:



On Friday we made preparations for the building of the tabernacle. Exodus has detailed instructions on measurements and materials. For our design contest the students had a "cherub" drawing contest to see whose cherub would end up on the Ark of the Covenant.

McCord's won the class vote (one up from the bottom right). It was the hair that did it for him.




An anonymous artist also drew a cheery cherub for those needing a lift today:





We finished the week taking time to each read where we are reading in the OT and to highlight to the class something we learned or that inspired us before we let out for the weekend.
