We shared some great insights about the story, focusing on the idea that we should always pick doing what the Lord wants us to do over the things of the world -- tempting as they may be.
We wrapped up by introducing the book of Deuteronomy. Excellent pictures drawn by Carter, Maddie, EJ and Damarys to highlight some of the repeat stories Moses writes in Deuteronomy. We talked about how Deuteronomy is about repeating the experiences of Israel so that they remember the Lord's dealings with them, and we reflected on how we need to record and remember what the Lord tells us.
