Week 2

We spent week 2 on Moses 1-3, Genesis 1-2 & Abraham 4-5. We started with an introduction to the Biblical timeline, talked a little bit about Moses, and spent some time on what our Heavenly Father's "work and glory" is and how we fit in to that.

Then we went back to the beginning and spent a couple of days thinking hard about the Creation and what it means for us. Five groups spent some time breaking down the significance of each of the major days of Creation for the class -- their visual aids were a highlight:

We also had some very good conversations about what it means to be "created in the image of God." Great insights from the class about why this is important and how it should affect the way we think and live. We finished with a discussion of Adam and Eve and the great blessings of eternal marriage.

Also, awesome devotionals this week from Brenda, Mylah, Caelin, Jonathan and Anna Evans -- thanks a lot for your preparation and for bringing in the Spirit.
